Re: The Central Topic

It's not without reason that I asked about evolution. I'm really interested in your view. How the atomic egos emerge? How they begin to incarnate? What to they learn from this? What exactly changes in these atoms as they develop? And of course - if there's such thing as evolution, where it is going...

Re: The Central Topic

You say that souls incarnate in limited conditions in order to learn and evolve. But evolve in what direction? What's the point? Where does this all development lead? Furthermore the very voluntary veil in itself makes any idea about learning quite senseless. One can speak about unique kinds of exp...

Re: The Central Topic

So, for the sake of clarification, if allowing the analogy that soul-beings enter this corporeal construct to become masters of limitation, so to speak, in that there's some value to be learned from that which can't be learned any other way, and also let's allow that such mastery is attainable, suc...

Re: The Central Topic

My point is that we live in pathological times when it is believed that it is more probable to 'know the truth' by simply picking a random new age belief from the bucket and ignore the whole spectrum of facts which contradict it, rather than investigate the facts in depth. It's actually the other w...

Re: The Central Topic

PS: Here is another analogy: in science we use telescopes and microscopes in order to acquire unique perspectives into certain structures of micro or macro objects. But tele/micro-scopes work by trading the sharpness of focus with the scope of perspective - the more sharp and detailed vision we get,...

Re: The Central Topic

Similarly we can never perfect the flow of our artistic spiritual stream unless we begin to observe how it is constrained 'from the other side' by ideas, prejudices, opinions, feelings, sympathies, antipathies, desires, beliefs, fears. All of these are the form of our guitar, the tension of the str...

Re: The Central Topic

Eugene, this ain't fun anymore. You're practically just ignoring everything you're being told and keep asking the same questions all over again. I specifically wrote in the previous post (because I knew that you'll snatch at it): And this should not be mistaken for reducing the perceptions to thoug...

Re: The Central Topic

I would stay away from such analysis. This is not being disrespectful or dismissive. What goes on inside our minds are extremely important but mind trying to decipher its own secrets could become an endless loop. How can we trust the mind to examine its contents and produce reliable reports? So I w...

Re: The Central Topic

There are several basic positions: 1/ We declare that the body is of completely different nature that can only be modelled (symbolized) through various finger-gestures but never known in its essence (materialism) 2/ We assume that our finger is of the same essential nature as the body lying within ...

Re: The Central Topic

As best I can gather from all your hyphens and analogies is that you are simply suggesting a sort of mindfulness meditation. That's fine. Been there. Done that. Do that. I don't think it leads me to the same conclusions as it leads you. But then maybe I approach meditation with fewer preconceptions...
