Re: observtiton, logic, folklore and presuppositions

Surely thinking has at least reached a point that it can see the absurdity in this? Yes, I've noted in quite a few NDEs how humour applies when looking "from above". Not really in need of an NDE in this case  Think [sic] about it ... Ashvin in promoting PoF as an example of how to at...

Re: observtiton, logic, folklore and presuppositions

The obvious irony in all this is that in considering the view that some races are in any way spiritually lagging behind, what are we to make of it when one of the forum members, who quotes Steiner's PoF frequently as an example of how thinking can be spiritually transfigured, would be, according to ...

Re: observtiton, logic, folklore and presuppositions

Yes, I only wanted the truth not to be censored, so when Shu deleted my topic, and when after discussing it with him he refused to allow it and wrote to me "Yeah well, go whine to BK about it.", I felt morally obliged to write to Bernardo and other members of the forum about the situation...

Re: Vote of confidence?

The new material I attempted to bring to the attention of the participants was the racist views of Steiner and his anthroposophy that haven't been exposed and discussed before on this forum. The material was supported by two links to academic papers. Again, both links have been moved to page 3 of t...

Re: Vote of confidence?

Yes these comments are no longer for Jim, Eugene, Justin, or FB. They have made it perfectly clear they will not seriously consider any responses. They are for anyone else who wants to understand Anthroposophy and/or what is going on right here on this forum. I know you see it as unnecessarily repe...

Thanks ... clearly Jim has an opinion, but is not interested in engaging with anyone contesting that opinion, but I suppose you might as well contest it nonetheless ... as if I expected otherwise.

Re: Vote of confidence?

I've had no problem with your moderation. I ignore the Steiner threads anyway since it is more of a cult than a philosophy or science so I missed most of the controversy anyway. I would think racism would be fair topic to consider for any view if it is structurally built into the view. I have enoug...
