Re: A question about language

I made no comment about not being judged. Francis would say true happiness would be having a peaceful heart no matter what is happening. OK, because you said "which feels (even momentarily) as a freedom from judging or being judged " , I wanted to clear that out. Please excuse me Cleric b...

Re: Symphony

Yes, this I am very aware of. It's been a few years since I realized the power of Thanking, and the sense of righteousness and alignment it provides. Previously, I was sometimes wondering why "life was being unfair", with me, at times, but especially with others. As you say, I used to thi...

Re: A question about language

Great question. Thanks Cleric. Imperfect as I am, I'm surely no authority but I'll give it a shot... The final step is forgiving one's own self and thereby transcending into a new way of being, which feels (even momentarily) as a freedom from judging or being judged. With this large stone removed f...

Re: Symphony

Another tremendously effective and very easy technique is simply Thanking. Anytime we awaken from the hamster wheel, we can simply Thank with every fiber of our being, for everything. The more grateful we are, the more we feel in the Flow. On the contrary, when we are ungrateful and grumbling, we un...

Re: Symphony

I see that one can't force a permanent state of exercise into everyday life, but I was referring to the naturally occurring (after spiritual development is pursued) loss of demarcation between perceptual and soul realms described by Ashvin: Our natural consciousness indeed changes in time. The simp...

Eugene, do you agree with Mishlove that 'more data' is needed? If yes, what kind of data should that be?

Re: A question about language

Interesting speculations, Cleric, thank you. Given your starting assumption I follow through to your conclusions. Let me offer just for contemplation another plausible assumption that it's simply a learning process of right or lawful action without a necessity of personal remorse. When the remorsef...

Re: Symphony

So there's no real-time awareness of the meaning of the Phonograph metaphor for me, as I walk down the street, or do everyday work. If I want to recall that meaning - with effort - I have to pause and detach from the sensory spectrum. This is what is missing. Not that I don't get how it makes sense...

Re: Symphony

That's illuminating. Or at least I have the impression that it's giving me a better and better sense of what will be going on from a certain point onward, and how to navigate it, in that passive-active balanced intention you have spoken of before. Making this into an experience is a whole different...

Re: Symphony

That is an entirely new approach to me, thank you for going into such a level of detail and clarity, Cleric. I certainly don't do any of these progressive steps when trying to concentrate, but they are very clearly fleshed out - anyone can follow these indications, so I should be able to. I am a bi...
