Re: René Guénon and traditional metaphysics

These reasoned concepts are symbols for higher spiritual realms
Ash, I don't understand why higher spiritual realms are not, in your view, abstractions.

Interesting article. I hadn't realised David Chalmers was in two minds about whether we live in a virtual reality.

Re: Another recent BK interview

I am not very optimistic about the near-term trends of human culture either
I would very much enjoy reading your medium and long-term prophecies, Ash.

Re: Towards a G.U.T. in Physics - Consciousness/Love(???) as the fundamental force of nature

Dsamson - thank you for your post, and I hope you are coping as well as you can with your profound loss. A couple of thoughts to add fuel to yours: Love is an attractive force, and thus akin to its sensory-limited cognates gravity and subatomic bonding. Love released (freely given) seems akin to ene...

Re: Heat death of the Universe

Are you worried that MAL wants to end it all by stretching its synapses till they break? Perhaps the current model of heat death just reflects our own thinking - our cultural bias towards a pointless and meaningless universe. Other scenarios for the end of the universe haven't been disproven. But wh...

Re: BK's latest article on "self-deception"

I offer strong appreciation from my storyteller view.
Appreciation does not mean I agree with everything said.
It means that I see its value.
Indeed! Else if something is not understood to be wholly true, it must be wholly consigned to hell. This would be a fundamentalist approach.
