Re: I feel like Bernardo is getting carried away in a scary direction

Speculatively , I suspect that M@L-God-Great Mysteriousness will continue to create diversity despite whatever philosophy-religion-ideology accompanies the diverse views generated. I base this speculation on the ample evidence that Nature consistently pushes toward diversity and against monoculture...

How would we know since we can only ever be conscious of a subjective reality? Leap of faith? Similar question can be directed towards materialism, or "relational philosophy" or any other metaphysical or ontological scheme. They are all based on assumptions or leap of faith, there is no w...

Re: I feel like Bernardo is getting carried away in a scary direction

Yes, I hold to a Western idealism which does not add abstract "consciousness", which no one has ever experienced Consciousness is not abstract, it is the reality most intimately and directly experientially known to each of us - our ability to consciously experience, will, think, imagine, ...

Re: I feel like Bernardo is getting carried away in a scary direction

Instead of answering my question re ‘meaning’ and ‘world content’ - specifically giving an example of what you are talking about - you throw up another wall of nonsense including nuggets like ‘thought-bubbles’. I think you are suggesting that the world includes a layer of meaning- ok -can you provi...

There is no nihilism here. But they do not exist somew...

Re: BK's latest article on "self-deception"

Great article actually. Nihilism is negating the fundamental freedom and the ability of consciousness to recognize this self-deception and break free from it. Such "break-free" is not breaking free from the dream, but from a naive-realistic belief in a mind-independent reality of it. This ...

Re: BK in conversation with Tom Cambpell

Regarding BK, I would suggest that although the transcendent God is instinctive, that we, as God's dissociated alters, are more. We tend to forget that we are (at least capable of becoming - a process in progress as you say) God Immanent. This is the myth of the Incarnation (God as Christ becomes M...
