When the role of top predator (wolves in Yellowstone) is restored, biodiversity and balanced resilience return..We, as particles of God (M@L, Glorious Whatever), do the work. May we work well..
Maybe tiny microbes replacing big cats works well for us.

The tiny ones are surely part of the checks-and-balances. The dream is that we might check ourselves (limit ego, ambition, etc). Will be sad if the wee ones must limit us. It always comes down to relationship. In science lingo, emerging zoonotic diseases arise from an expanding human-wild interface. In more ordinary lingo, stop deforestation and invading the habitats of other beings. You know the drill.
