I won't get into the details as they might violate forum rules.

Now I'll be truly amazed if they honour fellow 'anarchist' Henry Miller with a stamp :)
Here out of instinct or grace we seek
soulmates in these galleries of hieroglyph and glass,
where mutual longings and sufferings of love
are laid bare in transfigured exhibition of our hearts,
we who crave deep secrets and mysteries,
as elusive as the avatars of our dreams.

Ursula may have been an anarchist, and that becomes quite clear in her writing, for example, 'The Dispossessed', but, it seems to me, that one would expect that she would be better recognized as a writer of superb science fiction than for advocating for anarchy. At least that is what likely got her picture on a stamp...

ABSOLUTELY it was her superb science fiction rather than her anarchy or strong rants against capitalism.

Next they should do George Orwell for disturbingly accurate non-fiction!

Perhaps the UK can do it as postage stamps have a strong nationalist bias.

Mind you, not exclusively so, as didn't the US issue a stamp with Gandhi's visage on it?

Definitely the UK first, as they are on the forefront of achieving his vision.

Yup! In the Cold War Champion of Liberty series.
