Any topics primarily focused on metaphysics can be discussed here, in a generally casual way, where conversations may take unexpected turns.

I came to this site because I've listened to 8 minutes of this conversation on you-tube and I'm finding it painful to listen to. I will persevere, but so far this is proving to be an example of the very 'language tunnel' that BK was eloquently (to me) describing.

It might be that they can find words that align towards a mutual understanding, but so far Hornsby seems to me to be obfuscating. Her replies seem to overwrite a serious issue in a manner that feels like a kind of ideological gaslighting.

I apologise for writing this without listening to the end. It may just allow me to continue with it rather than follow my impulse to turn it off.

Cool , just changed my signature
"And a mute thought sails,
like a swift cloud on high.
Were I to ask, here below,
Amongst the gates of desolation:
Where goes
this captive of the heavens?
There is no one who can reveal to me the book,
or explain to me the chapters."
