Non-determinism implies freedom of will, freedom to choose. Naturally, as you say, the actualization of the choise is not a consecutive process of chicken or egg problem, it's a parallel process - the real jazz.

But philosophical pessimism isn't about expectation, i think you are confusing it with psychological pessimism.

How are they different? Philosophical pessimism is not about life wisdom and practical philosophy? Is it purely epistemological and theoretical philosophy?

Not necessarily, the notion of "freedom" is itself complex and multifaceted, are we free to chose using information we don't have under your paradigm ?

Pessimism isn't necessarily about wisdom and practical philosophy, it is often about ontology and altough most pessimist philosophers would advocate positively for some wisdom or ways to wave through what they deem as the structural negative conditions of life, they still consider those structures in a negative fashion, it doesn't necessarily have to involve the future.
